Kierland Golf Club offers alternative to carts on the courseGolfers at the Kierland Golf Club can cruise from hole to hole on a Segway Golf Transporter(GT) in place of the traditional golf cart. Using gyroscope technology, microprocessors and electric balancing motors, the two-wheeled Segways are offered as an upgrade to golfers while playing a round on the 27 holes of golf. The custom-designed Segways hold score and yardage cards, tees, golf balls and drinks. Kierland is the only golf club in the United States that offers this high-tech option.
